Edwin van Sligter, director of DSV seeds Netherlands, says: "In order to support the growth of the organization and to guarantee the level of service to our relations, we have expanded and modernized our storage capacity for finished products and the forwarding space by 3,900 m². The realization of a roof of 1,400m² preceded this at the beginning of last year.
With the expansion of 3 new loading docks, we can greatly increase both the delivery and reception capacity. 300m² of offices, welfare facilities and a canteen have also been realized in the new warehouse. With the expansion, we are also taking an important step in further optimizing the product flow through the company and improving the working comfort of our employees."
In addition to the expansion of the warehouse, a brand new seed cleaner has also been put into use to purify the seeds. “With this expansion, DSV seeds is ready for the future to serve its Dutch and Belgian customers, but also to meet the large international demand through an efficiently streamlined logistics product flow,” says Van Sligter.
