May 2023 saw the appointment of Hamish Crichton as Key Account Manager – Grasses to the growing team at DSV UK. Hamish brings a wealth of Key Account Management experience to the role and has been working in the Amenity sector for six years. During his time at Aquatrols, as a Key Account Manager, Hamish acquired his FACTS qualification and continues to develop his understanding of soil science. When the opportunity to apply for the position at DSV UK arose Hamish wasted no time;
“to work for an established 100-year-old breeder such as DSV, with their significant investments in R and D, was an opportunity that interested me very much, and I am delighted to be part of the team in the UK. I’ve become a bit of a soil geek; it’s a frontier science and we are learning more and more each year about the highly complex world beneath our feet. So to work for DSV, a company at the forefront of soil science and grass/arable research, is really exciting for me”
Hamish will look after both amenity and forage accounts, working closely with Sam Horner and Beth Dinsdale, to provide a customer centric service that reflects the highly desirable and effective grasses in the DSV portfolio
