Hybrid ryegrass is a biennial to perennial tussock-forming grass. It is a cross between Perennial and Italian ryegrass. Depending on the paternal and maternal crossing partners, the grass is more similar to Perennial or Italian ryegrass. It is not suitable for permanent meadows. For the production of field forage it can be used in pure seeds or in mixtures.
